TACCLE 1st course 2014

Creating your own e-learning content in school education and adult education

With this 6th in-service training which will run from 6 until 13 April 2014 in Urbino, Italy (reference number: BE-2013-268-001 Session 2 Comenius or BE-2013-267-001 Session 2 Grundtvig) our aim is to help teachers to develop state of the art content for e-learning in general and for learning environments in particular. We try to achieve this by training teachers to create e-learning materials and raising their awareness of e-learning in general. TACCLE will help to establish a culture of innovation in the schools in which they work. The training is geared to the needs of the classroom teachers but teacher trainers, ICT support staff and resource centre staff may find it useful too!

Ginco award for the TACCLE course

At the Third conference of the Ginco network of course organisers in Hasselt (Belgium) the Taccle course received a first price in the category of integrated ICT use.

The course has been selected for a GINCO award due to the use of ICT for course management and preparation. We intensively use ICT applications such as Google docs and forms to ensure an efficient registration process. On-line tools are also used by the trainers to prepare the course materials (Google docs, Skype, Dropbox).

TeNeGEN project

Connecting TEachers to reach out to and teach the NEt GENeration or TeNeGEN is a Leonardo Transfer of Innovation project. It builds on the results of two earlier successful projects: SLOOP and NETIS. The SLOOP project (Sharing Learning Objects in an Open Perspective) demonstrated key concepts in e-learning 2.0; NETIS provided the philosophical, sociological, and pedagogical basis to support new paradigms of teaching and learning in the Information Society. The aim of the Tenegen project is to establish an European environment of ’connectivism’ for VET teachers and trainers, to show the significant advantages of being connected to the n-Gen instead of simply ’delivering’ knowledge through virtual classrooms and Learning Management Systems.

TACCLE test training in Urbino

One of the outcomes of the TACCLE project will be an in-service training course which we will offer at least once a year via the Comenius training database, to interested teachers from all over Europe. The first two courses will probaly be organised in March and April 2010 in both Wlaes and Italy.

From 20 – 22 april 2009 we organised a succesfull test course as an outcome of one of the workpackages of our project. The feed-back from the participants makes it possible for us to adjust and fine-tune the programme of the in-service training we plan to offer. The test was only 3 days while a full course will be 5 days of training. TACCLE test training in Urbino weiterlesen
